Bogdan Eftimie, MD
Dr. Eftimie earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University, his internship and residency at Loma Linda University, and his fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. His clinical interests include gastrointestinal, lung, melanoma, and benign hematology. Dr. Eftimie has a strong interest in research and serves as the principal investigator.
Emi Yoshida, MD
Dr. Yoshida earned her medical degree from the University of California, Davis, and completed her residency at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, CA. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UCSF and is on the faculty at UCSF Health, while also treating patients at the Washington Radiation Oncology Center.
Nicolas Prionas, MD, Ph.D.
Dr. Prionas earned both a bachelor’s degree in biomedical computation and a master’s degree in biomechanical engineering from Stanford’s School of Engineering. He then enrolled in an eight-year “dual-doctorate program” at the University of California, Davis, in which he earned both his Ph.D. from the School of Engineering and his MD from the School of Medicine. Dr. Prionas completed his Radiation Oncology Residency training at Stanford University.
Dr. Prionas treats patients with malignancies of all types but specializes in the detection, diagnosis, and management of breast cancer. He completed research at UC Davis where his research focused on quantitative imaging and radiotherapy using a novel dedicated breast computed tomography platform.
Jesse Alexander, MD, Ph.D.
Dr. Alexander earned a Ph.D. in biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at the University of California, San Francisco.
Maria Lopez
Maria is the senior research coordinator for the Oncology Research Program at the UCSF - Washington Cancer Center. As a Fremont native, Maria is passionate about bringing access to meaningful clinical trials to members of the local community. She earned a bachelor's degree from San Jose State University and has been working in the health care industry for seven years.
