Foundation Events

For over three decades, Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation has hosted its annual signature events to raise funds to help Washington Hospital provide the highest quality of health care to our community. Our signature events, the Top Hat Gala and the Gene Angelo Pessagno Golf Tournament, have helped fund critical equipment and programmatic needs, including:

• New Prenatal Diagnostic Center
• State-of-the-art technology – Linear Accelerator for Washington Radiation Oncology Center
• Medical Equipment for the Morris Hyman Critical Care Pavilion
• 3D mammography machine for Washington Hospital’s Women Center
• COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund to purchase High-efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filters, Negative Air Pressure Equipment, Powered respirators for staff, lifesaving PPE and Medical equipment to enhance care for COVID-19 patients
• Equipment needs for Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation Center
• Operating Room Instrumentation for shoulder surgery
• Set of Neurosurgical retractors
• Motor drive for Neurosurgical Drill System
