Washington Women's Center - Wellness Classes & Services

At Washington Women's Center, our mission is to get you started on the path to good health and keep you going with programs geared especially for women. Take a moment to check out our growing list of wellness and education services. They're offered throughout the day, in the evening and on Saturdays. We believe when women learn more about their own health and wellness they feel empowered to take an active role in managing their health throughout the stages of life.

All classes, unless otherwise noted, take place in the Washington Women's Center conference room at 2500 Mowry Avenue, Suite 150, in Fremont. Upcoming classes include:

Evening Lecture Series

Neck, Back and Beyond

Learn yoga techniques to relieve the aches that build up from working at a desk/computer. In this class you will explore simple practices that you can incorporate into your day to release tension and improve flexibility so that you can experience less discomfort and strain. Class limited to 15. Fee: $15

Lunch and Learn Series

Bring your lunch and come join us for a short topic about women's health. We offer one hour sessions at noon in our Washington Women's Conference Room.

Fall Prevention and Balance

Better balance and core strength can prevent falls. Learn about fall prevention and balance techniques to help keep you on your feet. This class will focus on strengthening core muscles to improve overall balance.
