Several free screenings are throughout the year including screenings for abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral Vascular, cholesterol, blood sugar, etc. Check our community calendar and schedule of classes for information on the next scheduled screening.

Below is a listing of upcoming screening events. These are free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required. Please call Health Connection at (800) 963-7070 to register.
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening
This screening is for those at risk of developing an abdominal aortic aneurysm. An aneurysm is a bulge in the aorta (the main blood vessel leading away from the heart). To qualify for this screening, you must pre-register. No walk ins.
When: Saturday, October 18, 2008
Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Osteoporosis Screening
The Washington Community Health Resource Library offers free bone density screenings for osteoporosis.

Blood Pressure Screening
The Washington Community Health Resource Library offers free blood pressure screenings. The blood pressure screening machine also determines your Body Mass Index (BMI), pulse rate, weight and height.

Stroke Awareness Day
Carotid Screening, Stroke Risk Factors Screenings
Free screenings for those at risk for a stroke.
To qualify you must pre-register, No walk-ins.

Skin Screening
Dermatologists will be available to screen your skin for abnormalities. The screening will take seven to eight minutes.

Leg Screening For Peripheral Vascular Disease
This screening is for people over the age of 50 who have concerns about circulation in their legs. The most common symptom of peripheral vascular disease is pain in the leg or legs when walking that goes away with rest.
